Job Description

Do you think outside of the box? Do you see beauty in shadows? Nine West Group is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team in our NYC office. 

This role assists the marketing, public relations and e-commerce team with a variety of fashion-forward design projects (seasonal advertising campaigns, photo shoot concepts, post-production,  mailer designs, social media design and more). This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with Art Director, Graphic Designer and e-commerce team to maintain the weekly upkeep of ninewest.com

• Maintain and organize server and database so multiple departments can access and utilize assets 

• Assist the Graphic Designer with special projects, as needed. Such as: designing collateral, promotional pieces for retail and wholesale, store emails, cash wrap displays and in-store signage, light boxes, evites, etc. 

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited college or university. 

• Excellent communication and organization. 

• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.

• Strong eye and taste level, an interest in social media, fashion and pop culture

• Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers to execute design directions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment on multiple projects
