INFORMATION SYSTEMS (LAWSON) ANALYST

REPORTS TO:

Director, Corporate Systems

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the analysis, design, development, processing and validations of interfaces to / from Human Resources, Benefits, Compensation and Payroll systems including system administration and interface development in the Infor S3 / Lawson platform. Additional responsibilities include interface design, development and monitoring of Oracle Essbase OLAP (Hyperion).
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide front line support to the HR/ Payroll system including administration of Infor S3 / Lawson Windows V9.0.1

• Design, develop, implement and monitor associate information analytics and reporting programs

• Create, analyze and respond to all requests for Human Resource / Payroll information requests

• Provide material support and testing services during the upgrade to Infor S3 v10

• Liaise with IT Operations department to monitor jobs, correct issues and improve efficiencies to reduce costs

• Provide occasional off hours support for job tracking and completion success

• Code Interface programs to load / extract data, as needed using Lawson 4GL / MicroFocus COBOL

• Develop, publish and monitor report using Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) and Crystal Reports

• Working knowledge of Relational Data Base Management Systems and client server technology.

• Identify, source and manage relationships related to HR/Payroll and financial reporting vendors

• Partner with HR teammates to manage the annual review process including data conversion, interface, processing, validation
and hindsight analysis

• Revise and update existing application documentation, as needed

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Provide additional support for HR, Payroll and Finance projects, as is necessary

Required Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resource/ Payroll application development and support

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Infor S3 / Lawson Administration on the Windows SQL Platform

• Experience with Lawson Security Administration (LSA) including profiles, groups, roles and security classes

• Knowledge of current HR trends including experience with, but not limited to: resource assessment, performance management systems and compensation systems, data processing systems and information analytics

• Demonstrated ability to create and edit training materials

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with and influence multiple levels of the organization

• Excellent communication skills- written and oral

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Access (able to write complex queries, reports and forms) and Microsoft Excel

• Previous operations experience in a retail environment a plus
 
EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics or related fields
