Imaging Specialist
Job Description
The Imaging Specialist is responsible for retouching all assigned projects and maintaining graphics file integrity across print and digital channels. This includes partnering with Art Department to adhere to brand guidelines and best practices, as well as ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality retouching for all catalogs, magazines, newspapers, direct mail collaterals & digital.
- Enforce graphics standards during lifecycle of print and digital campaigns.
- Follow brand guidelines, manage templates and prepare files for design.
- Execute sign-off at design stage and before release.
- Flag low resolution images with final artwork and check integrity of files.
- Communicate with production managers regarding deadlines, rereleases, and other specifications.
- Serve as backup for shipping responsibilities and coding of emails.
- Collaborate with art directors to ensure file integrity prior to group reviews.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferably in Graphic Design or Advertising
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Print Retouching and Advertising Production or Graphic Design
Knowledge & Skills
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced environment and be willing to deal with shifting priorities.
- Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Indesign required.
- Must have thorough working knowledge of Mac OS X and be adept in other Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Illustrator.
- Retail experience a plus.
