Human Resources Manager

- Function as day to day HR Business Partner/strategic thought partner to several corporate divisions in the organization
- Provide consultation, guidance and coaching to home office teams to ensure issue resolution and employee development
- Deliver talent management initiatives such as succession planning, org. leadership reviews and individual development plans
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross functional partners inclusive of HR Center of Excellence
- Manage employee relations/performance management issues inclusive of conducting internal investigations, partnering with the loss prevention, and performing terminations in partnership with the Legal department
- Maintain compliance and understanding of federal and state regulations concerning employment practices
- Oversee the HR on-boarding and new leader assimilation for new leaders.
- Troubleshoot inquiries from corporate employees and utilize resources with the company to pro-actively find solutions
- Act as a liaison for employees on payroll & benefits issues in partnership with the Total Rewards department and Payroll
- Develop and maintain policy and procedures as needed
- Partner on annual review process with business leaders
- Conduct exit interviews of voluntary terminations; analyze trends and recommend solutions.
- Provide metrics against key deliverables
- Support broader HR projects when necessary
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of HR experience
- Four year Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven track record of effective HR (multi-tasking) management in a highly populated, fast paced environment
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and dealing with and understanding labor laws
- Experience with organizational design and talent management
- Knowledge and practical application of all HR discipline and practices
- Well developed written presentation, organization, and editing skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute within a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Experience within a fashion retailer is a preferred
- Pro-active problem solver who is solution oriented
- Must have a positive and energizing attitude
