Human Resources Coordinator - CALVIN KLEIN

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and generalist support for the HR Director; acts as a point of contact for all general inquiries in respective associate populations re: benefits, payroll, orientation/on-boarding; works closely with the Director on all Talent Management programs and projects.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Provide guidance to associates on all company benefit inquiries, including health insurance, discounts, and wellness programs.
  • Work closely with Data Coordinator to ensure all payroll-related inquiries are acknowledged and handled in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the entry and audit of HRIS data for respective business groups (New hire data, terminations, address changes, pay changes, title changes, transfers, etc.)
  • Facilitate the Exit Interview process (schedule Exit interview/email survey link, prepare exit data, conduct exit interviews as needed.
  • Work closely with Director on all Talent Management programs/projects, including:
  • Onboarding/Orientation: New Hire Orientation Program- Deliver Benefits orientation
  • Performance Management: Support the goal-setting, development plan, annual evaluations, compensation planning processes.
  • Talent Management: Support annual Talent Review and succession planning programs
  • Employee Events: Coordinate annual health/benefits fair, 401K day, Bring Your Kid to Work day.
  • Job analysis and job requisitions: job description creation/revisions and compensation review, prepare/submit job requisitions.
  • Employee Communication: Draft organizational and new hire announcements
  • Data analytics: run reports to support tracking of HR metrics ( Turnover, Adverse impact, etc)
  • Re-organizations: Work with benefits team to prepare severance agreements and support Communication planning.
  • Maintain all materials related to new hire orientation programs, including benefit binders, Brand New Start binders, and Calvin Klein new hire packets.
  • Manage the Associate Referral Program process to ensure bonuses are paid in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate/Facilitate the Temp process (new hire paperwork, invoices, temp tracking and communication)
  • Assist the Director in creating/preparing materials for presentations, reserving conference rooms, sending invitations, etc.
  • Maintain and revise organizational charts for assigned areas.
  • Act as point person for any active employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of all personnel files for respective business groups
  • Maintain disability/FMLA files; work with Data Coordinator to ensure appropriate payroll/deduction schedules for associates on leave; track activity through MetLink.
  • Maintain workers compensation files; enter all associate claims in provider database.
  • Act as back-up for Lawson data entry in absence of Data Coordinator.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

 

          Experience:        

                        2+ years in an administrative setting, preferably in Human Resources

                        Experience working in a creative/upbeat face paced environment preferred

                        Customer Service experience required (retail preferred)

Experience with Visio or other org chart software a plus

Experience with Lawson/Workday or other payroll software required

 

Education:

                       

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

                       

           Skills:                

                        Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)

Must be detail-oriented

Must be proactive and resourceful

                        Ability and willingness to speak publicly to small and large groups

                        Strong computer skills, particularly Excel & Powerpoint
