HEAD OF ECOMMERCE
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a strategic leader to design and execute our e-commerce strategy, drive revenue growth, and enhance the Web site customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving successful online retail initiatives. Additionally, the executive will be part of the marketing leadership team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute the e-commerce strategy. This person will oversee P&L management, Web site content, UX, front and back-end development, analytics, and E-Commerce platform oversight.
RESPONSIBILITES
- E-Commerce Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging e-commerce trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Revenue Growth
- Drive revenue growth through innovative online sales strategies, digital marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Set ambitious revenue targets and develop actionable plans to achieve and exceed them.
- Customer Experience
- Oversee the enhancement of the online shopping experience, focusing on usability, personalization, and customer engagement.
- Utilize customer data and analytics to optimize the user journey and increase customer retention.
- Digital Marketing and Branding
- Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing, to drive traffic and conversions.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all digital channels.
- Technology and Platform Management
- Evaluate and select appropriate e-commerce platforms and technologies to support business goals.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement new features, functionalities, and integrations.
- Data Analytics and Insights
- Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and website performance.
- Leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize the e-commerce ecosystem.
- Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Partnerships and Vendor Management
- Forge strategic partnerships with external vendors, agencies, and technology providers to enhance the e-commerce infrastructure.
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving significant multi-million-dollar revenue growth through e-commerce channels.
- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer experience optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision.

Salary: $200,000
