Graphic/ Technical Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Concept and create a line for private label business in footwear and sock categories

• Work with sales, product development team, and retail partners 
to develop private label lines

• Researches color and style trend analysis and communicates to 
product development team via samples, trend boards, etc.

• Responsible for selecting materials and defining/executing 
color strategy

• Communicate extensively with overseas factories 

• Create spec sheets and tech packs 

• Follow consistent size and fit standards, grade rules and 
tolerances, construction and quality standards, standard 
pattern blocks and tech pack templates

• Fit samples on live model or form and record comments to 
ensure final fit, quality and construction meets standards

• Communicate with vendors to ensure execution of standards; 
track fit and top of production (TOP) samples


REQUIREMENTS:

• Superior organizational skills and excellent communication 
skills; team oriented; highly detail oriented and meticulous

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, balance creativity 
with technical capability, and interpret design sketches for 
tech packs

• Extensive knowledge of footwear and legwear; including but not 
limited to silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, 
fabrication and trim; familiarity with print design and 
manufacturing

• Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator (CAD)

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Travel to present line to clientele

 Requirements:

• 3-5 Years Experience
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a team player and able to work cross functionally with all departments
