Graphic Designer (Sports/Athletic Socks & Accessories)- 3-5 Years Experience

DUTIES:

• Take ownership of designs for a range of brands, from the concept stage all the way through to store level
• Creating concept boards, creating dielines, photo editing etc.
• Developing new designs based on emerging trends with a cost sensitive approach
• Detailed daily layout reviews
• Reviewing samples for color, quality, layout, technique, etc.
• Mocking up prototypes of designs
• Assist with other duties within the team
• Shopping the market for trims, samples and trend inspiration when necessary
• Must be a great team player with the ability to multitask

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
• 2-5 years work experience in the design industry, preferably in the sports/athletic field
• Experience working in a creative office environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in Mac OS and Adobe Suite Programs (Illustrator & Photoshop a must), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Strong typographic and layout skills
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and organization are very important
• Must have good time management skills
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Athletic design knowledge a huge plus
