GRAPHIC ARTIST - Apparel / T-Shirt

Job Description

• Conceptualize and produce design for screen print, embroidery, and original art work
• Studies competition and benchmarks it relative to brand position
• Uses strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills. 
• Demonstrates the ability to merchandise color and print and present seasonal art direction to cross-functional partner
• Creating detailed flat sketches including color & print CADs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop 
• Research & review current market specialty techniques such as but not limited to washes, specialty prints, embroidery, and appliques
• Ensure all product design details are appropriate, unique, and compelling; colors, graphic size, embellishments, patterns, etc

Requirements

• Job is located in Central NJ 
• At least 3-5 years of previous graphic design experience 
• Must have experience in licensed apparel graphic design 
• Must have knowledge in apparel/ t-shirt design & silhouettes 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office 
• Sharp eye for detail with exceptional project management skills 
• Strong sense of urgency in regards to timelines and competing priorities 
• Team-oriented, motivated, and passionate about creating compelling, high quality design.
