The Partner Manager reports to the Director of International & Marketplaces as part of a small team within HBC’s Marketing Center of Excellence. The nature of the team’s initiatives requires strong partnership with other HBC departments including Technology, Logistics, Finance, and Legal; as a result, this role will afford tremendous exposure to many areas of a multi-faceted and rapidly growing online business.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a pipeline of international B2B partners in the fashion ecommerce space
· Lead new partner acquisition, onboarding, and account management
· Create and maintain B2B marketing materials including proposals, marketing plans, and one-sheets for HBC’s prospective business partners
· Conduct analyses of key areas for business growth and expansion
· Ensure successful implementation of partnerships by liaising between invested internal teams and breaking through organizational barriers
· Monitor the global ecommerce landscape and contribute to the team’s knowledge of key trends
· Ensure compliance with business rules and procedures defined by Finance and Legal teams
· Serve as a mentor to the team and lead by example
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of work experience with some combination of ecommerce, B2B sales, entrepreneurship, and/or consulting experience
· Achievement-oriented, results-driven, analytical, and data-focused
· Excellent verbal and oral communication skills; able to adapt to cultural and linguistic differences
· Able to attend conference calls during early morning / late evening hours when required due to time zone differences
· Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and SQL-based analysis/reporting tools
· Self-starting and eager to initiate and own new projects
· Able to adhere to existing procedures while also identifying ways to improve them
· Collaborative and enthusiastic about being part of a tight-knit team environment
· B.A. or B.S. from a top academic institution
