Description 

 

Gilt City is looking for a dynamic Senior Account Executive who can identify “on-brand,” key national partnerships, defining the offers that reinforce our company mission to Love Your City More. This person will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key national brand partners that reinforce our offering of building a life more beautiful for Gilt members. This person will own their own portion of business and work with their leader to strategize on ways to reach and exceed sales goals. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace, have an inherent creative ability to identify unique coveted experiences and have a passion for winning and the ability to execute quickly. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Own and drive full cycle sales on a continual basis by bringing in new accounts and maintaining relationships in order to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Define and agree on the optimal offer details and terms with National partners
  • Interface and communicate effectively with the sales operations and leadership teams based in the New York headquarters
  • Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management on a quarterly basis
  • Represent Gilt City at trade and tastemaker events
  • Manage or mentor Associate Sales Curator

 

Qualifications

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Proven track record of success as a driven sales professional
  • 5+ years full cycle, direct sales experience (conducting research, cold calling, face to face meetings, offer creation, deal execution, negotiation, relationship management, etc.)
  • Experience with national accounts, business development, media sales and/or luxury brands preferred
  • Ability in interact with all levels in the organization, including experience meeting with and calling on c-level executives
  • Management or supervisory experience a plus
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and passion for the luxury lifestyle and a pulse on emerging trends
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, start-up environment
  • Self starter that is ambitious in nature, with an entrepreneurial approach
