FREELANCE PRODUCT MANAGER - Women's Apparel Brand

Women's apparel brand in NJ is looking for a freelance Product Manager.

Develop and track all development and fit samples, meeting calendar deadlines
Create initial production tech packs that provide clear, accurate and comprehensive measurements/instructions so that factories can deliver products that meet standards for fit, construction and quality
Review tech packs and construction requirements with patternmaker
Measure and review samples prior to fit session, to ensure construction, measurements and styling are correct.
Participate in fittings, take notes and ensure patternmaker understands changes
Ensure that comments from fit sessions are accurately recorded and communicated to pattern maker, factories, production and merchandising
Update tech packs with any changes from the fit session
Create and update development and fit tracking charts
Communicate problems with garment construction to production team
Pass sample patterns to cutter and manage the production and timely delivery of all photoshoot and salesman samples
Order and track all sample yardage for development and salesman samples
Source and develop all new fabric and trims
Create and update all seasonal line sheets in Illustrator
Create and maintain all style information within the Blue Cherry operating system
