FREELANCE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

We're looking for a freelance Product Development Coordinator in NYC.  

- Responsible for the daily tracking and sending of all packages. All samples that arrive in NY office need to be checked into corresponding development chart and a photo sent to design team. For outgoing packages all shipped items are documented and dated in an email to the corresponding factory. 

- Responsible for the tracking of all samples: research and development, initial protos, development samples, rush samples and pre-production samples. 

- To oversee and maintain the organization of product development sample room closet by season. 

- Partners with operations on 'top of production' samples that are shipped between Ohio distribution center and NY office. 

- Reconcile costing discrepancies with accounts payable team on bulk shipment invoices from factories. 

- Responsible for processing and logging monthly invoices from factories. 

- Partners with PR team to ensure that all marketing samples arrive on time. 

- Responsible for updating development chart with confirmed costing and style ID numbers once received from factory. 

- Responsible for pre-production sample process both in terms of working with design for comments and sending out feedback to vendors. (This process is overseen by PD manager but owned by coordinator).
