FREELANCE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE - DOE

Leading Beauty Brand in New York City is seeking a Freelance Product Development Associate to evaluate and approve products, supply product to cross-functional teams for testing, and work with vendors.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with a top company in a three month contract role. The ideal candidate for this role possesses beauty product development experience and can deliver quality product in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Verify accuracy of fact sheets; oversee product development requests
• Route samples and questionnaires for testing
• Organize results from product testing; report conclusions
• Oversee processing of systems
• Work with vendors on various programs
• Work with R&D on product aesthetics
• Maintain status sheets for programs
• Support sampling for customer testing
• Assess the competitive landscape

Requirements:

• Beauty product development experience; background directing and evaluating product
• Fragrance development experience
• Deadline-driven and efficient multitasker
• Quick learner that can hit the ground running
• Meticulous eye for detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team
