FREELANCE PD AND PRODUCTION TEMP

Our high end fashion client is looking for a freelance PD and Production Temp to work on their Women's RTW line.

• Day to day point person for Design, Materials, Atelier, Merchandising and Planning & logistic teams Executes design development activities from Concept to Runway/ Lookbook sample and drives issue resolution to commercialization stage. 
• Key product driver managing all aspects of development and production while engaging Design to ensure aesthetic intent.
• Leads early development process by working with Design to establish concepts and aesthetic intentions through sampling for key edit and line presentation meetings.
• Manage priorities to meet goals and deadlines.
• Create and monitor calendars to ensure timeliness of deliverables.
• Coordinate workload, communication and direction directly to factories both overseas and domestic.
• Work out of the box, multitask and juggle ad hoc projects and processes for quick accurate turnaround.
• Attend weekly fittings and weekly cross functional team meetings.
• Supports the investigation and development of new factories and sample providers. 
• Prepare and analyze end of season recaps.
• Analyze costing and least cost resolutions.

The accomplished individual will possess...

• 5+ years’ experience with collection and/or runway, product development and/or production background
