FREELANCE OPERATIONS PLANNER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vendor Management

• Responsible for tracking & timely movement of inventory (finished goods & components)
• Assist with Portal transactions (Partners with Inventory Control, Contract Manufacturers & Suppliers) / troubleshoot issues such as quantity and date discrepancies.

Inventory Management

• Responsible for tracking & timely movement of inventory (finished goods & components)
• Responsible for expediting component shipments & communicating with planners impact on production. Strong partnership with Mast Global Transportation and Vendor base will be necessary.

Transaction/Data Management

• Daily management of production issues at Vendor Base
• Creation and release of “Just in Time/Kanban” Purchase Orders to Beauty Park Suppliers
• PO date management via vendor communication and Sales and Operations Planning Process
• Financial Excess Reporting to support entire Operations Team
• Responsible for On Time & Complete metric analysis and planner report compliance
• Partnership with Quality team to review “holds” and ensure samples are processed in a timely manner
• Primary contact for Gift Set team on all deliveries of Finished goods into Assembly Center

Reporting

Responsible for generating reports:

-Open Orders (weekly)

-Production Posting Report (daily/wkly)

• New Article Launch tracking and set up in SAP systems
• Others, as required (ad hoc)

Key Meetings

• Actively participate in vendor meetings
• Actively participate in Sub-brand team meetings
• 1-on-1 meetings with team members & Manager, as required

Talent Management and Development

• Assist in On-boarding new associates
• Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Exceptional attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 0-2 years of planning experience
