FREELANCE MARKETING COORDINATOR

Our client is a large, big-box retailer specializing in luxury products and is seeking a Freelance Marketing Coordinator. The company retails with both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar stores. 

Salary/Hourly Rate: $14-16/hr

Position Overview: The Freelance Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing both digital and print marketing collateral. They will be working closely with the internal marketing team to create brand strategy with marketing campaigns through print and digital promotional campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing and managing the above areas while working cross-functionally with all internal marketing functional teams including digital, events, PR, social, etc. This position is well suited to a creative and analytical thinker with the organizational ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities: 

  • Freelance Marketing Coordinator conducts brand marketing including catalogs/magalogs and advertising
  • Omni-marketing initiatives for the vendors/brands available at retailer, plus product-category specific initiatives
  • Freelance Marketing Coordinator manages coop budgets
  • Customizes marketing proposals for vendor initiatives to develop impactful programs cross-functionally
  • Freelance Marketing Coordinator manages vendor insights and analytics
  • Assists with vendor or category specific programs focused on customer acquisition and retention

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within retail, fashion, or a related business
  • General business and data acumen with knowledge about the retail and fashion industries
  • Strong team player with an aptitude for building relationships across an organization
  • Excellent communication skills, confident presence, and professional demeanor to interact with top management both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint to develop presentations for senior executives 
  • Advanced Excel skills to track and manage budgets and co-op

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
