Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of contemporary design experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in fast paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Illustrator to create design sketches and seasonal linesheets
• Must be proficient in garment construction, fabric, finishing, and trim
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude

Job Description

• Research market regularly for creative ideas and product awareness
• Collaborate with team of designers and contribute new design ideas
• Prepare tech packs for all categories of the collection- career and fashion dresses and separates
• Work independently with overseas factories and local nyc factories to complete sample line
• Manage in-house cut tickets to ensure samples are executed properly and in timely manner
• Assist in fabric sourcing and allocation for sample line
