FREELANCE CRM MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Freelance Manager of CRM will support the Director of Marketing in implementing CRM programs across store and eCommerce channels to meet marketing objectives, strategy and tactics in order to elevate the brand message and achieve sales goals.

 

S/he will be responsible for driving overall client acquisition, retention and engagement through segment-specific communication plans, omni-channel clienteling touch point strategies, and targeted marketing.This person must be analytical and have experience working at a retail company in this capacity. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Oversee direct communications with customers through CRM
  • Ensure database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities
  • Use CRM platform to drive and enhance strategic initiatives for email, loyalty programs, social and direct marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to support business-driving initiatives
  • Implement customer lifetime value strategies and maximize for profitability
  • Research and share best practices for CRM activities and campaigns with internal teams
  • Ensure CRM platform structure and architecture works seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information at key points in the customer life cycle

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

 

  • 3-5 years of proven retail experience in a CRM related role
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong strategic capabilities but also be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution
  • Proficient in MS Excel, database applications, and campaign tools
  • Proficient in back-end CRM solutions
  • Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills (‘Out of the Box’ thinker)
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with vendors and internal teams
  • Ability to establish credibility with senior management and effectively communicate analyses
  • Ability to handle & prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to learn, understand and converse around key business issues.
  • Strong decision-making skills and an understanding of where projects fit into overall Company and development strategies
  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and operationally-focused
  • Strong project planning, tracking & organizing skills

 

EDUCATION

 

BS/BA or University degree in Business or similar field, MBA a plus
