FREELANCE BUYER / PURCHASING AGENT

Popular fashion client in San Francisco, CA is looking for a freelance Buyer.

Some responsibilities include:Buyer:

• Provide analysis to support the development of seasonal strategies

• Rank styles based on historical and current product performance

• Understand product trends, historical data and departmental input

• Understand competitive environment; proactively see market knowledge through exposure to competitive retail outlets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

• 2+ years of retail buying experience.

• Experience as a Merchandiser/Merchandise Planner/IM planner/Buyer or equivalent.

• Possess a strong working knowledge of financial measurements.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
