FREELANCE ASSISTANT BUYER - NYC - $16-17/hr

The company is looking for a Freelance Assistant Buyer to support the buyer and their team with all administrative duties. Responsibilities: 

• The Freelance Assistant Buyer develops range plans and defines buying strategy at market/store level in accordance with line and category strategies
• Monitors correct flow of buying processes until the order finalization
• The Freelance Assistant Buyer determines replenishment strategy based on merchandising and logistical considerations
• Ability to work cross-functionally with planning teams to determine seasonal replenishment
• Communicates all pertinent product information to stores on a seasonal and as-needed basis
• The Freelance Assistant Buyer generates data and provides recommendations based on analysis of merchandise performance by store

Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Must be an extremely efficient verbal and written communicator
• Must be proficient in Excel with advanced formula experience (including pivot tables, V-lookups, etc)

Education Requirements: 

•  Bachelor's degree in a related field is required
