FREELANCE ASSISTANT BUYER

Responsibilities of the Assistant Buyer:
- Develop range plan and define buying strategy at market/store level in accordance with line and category strategies
- Monitor correct flow of buying process until the order finalization
- Determine replenishment strategy based on merchandising and logistical considerations
- Ability to work cross functionally with planning teams to determine seasonal replenishment
- Communicates all pertinent product information to stores on a seasonal and as needed basis
- Generates data and provides recommendations based on analysis of merchandise performance by store
Qualifications:
- Must have a 4 year bachelor degree in a related field
- The Freelance Assistant Buyer must have 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Must be an extremely efficient verbal and written communicator
- Must be proficient in Excel with advanced formula experience (including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc)
Education Requirements:
- The Freelance Assistant Buyer must have a 4 year Bachelor's Degree in a related field
