Financial Analyst - PVH Corp.

Responsible for monthly closing processes related to Retail divisions. Responsible for completion of various account reconciliations and analysis including deferred rent and Inventory in Transit. Support finance business partners with development of budgetary information as needed.  Assist management with ad hoc requests and analysis.

  • Assist in the monthly closing process for retail divisions in the US & Canada by preparing account analysis on various income statement and balance sheet accounts including prepaid assets, accrued liabilities, deferred rent and landlord allowances.   Analysis is prepared using excel or pivot tables. Prepare journal entries based on these analyses. 
  • Complete detailed analysis on retail Inventory in Transit.  Maintain Access database on all Inventory in Transit purchase orders.  Research unusual items working with other departments as needed.  Ensure proper accounting is completed in a timely fashion for imported retail inventory.
  • Support the divisions in the preparation of budgets of certain retail store expenses such as utility expenses, deferred rent, landlord allowances, and property taxes on an annual basis. Work closely with Divisional Finance to ensure their needs and timelines are met.  
  • Prepare schedules for the year-end audit and quarterly reviews.  
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly statement package for various retail divisions.
  • Prepare Corporate bank reconciliations on a quarterly basis
  • Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned. Some assignments may require associate to work closely with business partners and be proactive in addressing their needs. 


  • 1-3 years of experience; SAP, and EssBase experience is a plus


  • 4 year Accounting/Finance degree


  • Strong PC Skills: (Excel, Access, Word)
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with a focus on internal customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
