FASHION RECRUITER - $45-65k DOE - NYC

Our client, a top women’s wear brand is seeking a Fashion Recruiter to join their growing team. This is an established NYC house brand who has been an industry leader in women’s clothing, active-wear, and accessories for years.

 

Salary/Rate: $45-65k (DOE)

 

Position Overview: Due to growth, our client is seeking an experienced Fashion Recruiter to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting in a corporate setting. The Fashion Recruiter must have experience sourcing for a variety of positions in the fashion market: sales, marketing, administrative, design, production, and more. Most importantly, the Fashion Recruiter must know how to build the organization with top talent, understand the fast pace of the fashion market, and be able to point out who is passionate for the brand. This is a full-time position.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • The Fashion Recruiter conducts full-cycle recruitment for a variety of open requisitions
  • Partners with hiring managers to serve as the expert in what type of candidate is needed
  • Communicates and coordinates with hiring managers from job posting, interviewing process, to offer stage
  • The Fashion Recruiter assists with special projects such as: on-boarding new hires, sourcing, and managing our annual internship program

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1-3 years of consistent recruitment/talent acquisition experience for a fashion brand
  • The ideal candidate must have experience sourcing candidates (creating job postings, screening resumes, cold-calling, networking events, career fairs), making phone screens, and conducting behavioral based in-person interviews
  • Knows how to negotiate offers and on-board new candidates
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suite
  • Detail-oriented, people-person, team player
  • Go-getter attitude with a passion for fashion 
  • Must have fashion industry experience and recruiting at a high volume for corporate fashion positions 

 

Education Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited school required
  • Degree in Human Resources would be preferred
