Fashion PR/Marketing Coordinator

Miansai is looking to expand our team and we are currently interviewing Fashion Coordinators for our Miami office. The ideal candidate will be willing to work in fast paced work environment and have a passion for fashion.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Fashion Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Fashion Director with planning, managing, and implementing various internal and external communications and strategies. He/She will coordinate, maintain and deliver all brand messaging through a variety of channels including but not limited to PR agencies, events, product marketing, gifting program, stores, mobile retail and pop ups. This role also acts as the internal gate keeper for all brand messaging ensuring consistency for all brand touch points.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting in coordinating and managing of all PR Agencies, both domestic and global, with a minimum of weekly documented meetings. The meetings need to include detailed, specific and timely communications about the company messaging, goals, initiatives, opportunities, as well as their overall performance.

  • Maintenance of the brand's PR strategy and accompanying annual calendar ensuring that all parties are aware and connected to ensure messaging, imaging, product and labor are all available.

  • Understanding of digital goals for week, month and annual for all the agencies, and hold them accountable.

  • Sourcing of potential new PR Agencies for emerging territories as defined by the business strategy and goals.

  • Oversee coordination of influencer opportunities and initiatives.

  • Oversee stylist incentive program and assist in ways to strategize markets in major cities.

  • Manage gifting program product and recipients to be agreed by the Fashion Director.

  • Trafficking and maintain accurate logs of samples to/from the agencies and ensure product retention.

  • Understand and monitor the brand book to make sure it’s being executed throughout the company and all associated assets/marketing materials.

  • Full understanding of product design intent, product range, seasonal focused pieces and pricing strategy.

  • Assist in creating written communication and storytelling, and where necessary work with graphic design to put in presentation format.

  • Ensure proper sign off for all communications internal and external for all Public facing communications.

  • Assist in development of all marketing communications

  • Work with Fashion Director, Product Design & Graphic Design to create a detailed Marketing calendar including: retail, events, trade shows, strategic initiates, photo shoots/asset creation, etc.,

  • Involvement with event management, encompassing but not limited to: Personal Appearances, VIP, Customers, Mobile, Retail and Branding events.

  • Post analysis of all events and reporting feedback to leadership.

  • Maintain Fashion Director's network of press and influencer relationships; Grow and maintain an effective internal database of contacts that streamlines the planning and pitching process.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within contemporary, luxury fashion goods, and/or jewelry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university (preferably in marketing/communications or journalism)
  • A proven track record of supporting and executing PR programs that drive measurable usiness results.

  • A creative, innovative, and energetic self-starter with a strong sense of initiative.

  • Flexible, organized, team player with strong social skills dedicated to the success of the PR organization as a whole.

  • Work logically, systematically and within budget

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and edit press releases, executive Q&A’s, media alerts, etc.

  • Detail oriented with an eye for consistency; ability to multi-task with changing priorities.

  • Ability to work and problem solve independently; Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Maintain a positive attitude to continued learning and support of the overall business

LANGUAGES AND SKILLS:

  • Bi-Lingual a plus (English/Spanish)

  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good working knowledge of DMR, Fashion GPS, Fashion Monitor and other PR tools

  • InDesign and Photoshop preferred
