Fashion Director - E-Commerce & Retail - CALVIN KLEIN
POSITION SUMMARY:
The E-commerce/Retail Fashion Director ensures the consistent interpretation of the Calvin Klein brands aesthetic through the management of all Calvin Klein E-Commerce and Retail efforts. This is a crucial role; one that helps to keep fashion consistencies amongst all digital/retail shoots and initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Ensure consistency with the Chief Creative Director’s vision for the brand image and aesthetic
- Lead product reviews with the e-commerce content team and buyers for all related shoots, including e-commerce, retail and 3rd party
- Oversee all photo shoot logistics: talent coordination, fitting schedules, design participation, sample availability
- Direct fashion manager and assistant fashion coordinator responsibilities
- Participate in all e-commerce/retail photo style out and shoots to ensure that all product is being represented and styled properly
- Work with CRK production team, the e-commerce content team or the retail team in setting up clear styling and shoot schedules
- Review and approve styling for product detail photography images
- Act as a main fashion contact to Sandbox Studios for e-commerce product detail photography for calvinklein.com as well as any 3rd party e-commerce wholesale sites
- Oversee all international e-commerce photo shoots from a fashion perspective, including everything from calvinklein.com sites in Brazil, Europe, and China; to also any 3rd party Calvin Klein shoots overseas
- Create, update and maintain seasonal global styling e-commerce guidelines
- Participate in all post-production retouching activities for landing pages and PDP, retail POS shoots, retail/e-commerce look books, and 3rd party e-commerce shoots
- Work with Calvin Klein Retail merchandising & design teams in scheduling and participating seasonally in the retail look books process for US/Canada outlet stores
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 7-10 years of experience with fashion shoots (e-commerce or retail related preferred). Creative background a plus
Education: Bachelor’s Degree

- Expert knowledge of the E-commerce/Retail world
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
- Creativity and an eye for detail
- Ability to align with the brand aesthetic
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Strong fashion styling and merchandising exp
- Proficient on Mac, PC, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat & Photoshop
