Fabric & Trim Materials Manager - 5-7 Years Experience

Job Responsibilities

- Align with Design Director to source and develop Fabrics & Trims to meet Design Vision and Merchandising Requirements

- Drive innovation – attend fabric shows and mill appointments, research and present fabric trends to the design team.

- Follow competitive market as well as external markets to stay ahead of the curve.

- Work continuously with mills/suppliers to seek out new raw materials and stay abreast of developments in textiles & trims

- Communicate effectively and consistently with all key cross-functional partners on fabric and trim related issues

- Daily communication with overseas office and mills/suppliers with fabric/trim inquiries

- Manage & track seasonal color development of existing fabrics and trims

- Oversee replenishment and maintenance of fabric library

Candidate Requirements

- 5-7 years of experience in textiles and materials management

- Understanding of textile technologies in construction and finishes

- Clear and effective communication with both cross-functional teams and overseas contacts
