The E-commerce Supervisor is responsible for accuracy of merchandise received, stocked and moved. Investigate product and process quality issues and perform methodical problem solving. Project work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet/exceed HBC’s ecommerce service standards and to achieve overall building objectives.   Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees inventory control and quality assurance processes to include, but not limited to: Inbound Receipt Verification; sample and GWP receipt and assembly; Merchandise Inquiries from customers and buyers/planners
  • Oversees the quality and timeliness of resolution to issues related to inbound receipts
  • Accurately input, audit and research results in the various systems utilized
  • Develop daily plans to ensure forecasts and productivity objectives are met
  • Provide leadership, direction and on-going coaching to a group of 20 to 30 associates to ensure consistent achievement
  • Audit and correct bin discrepancies resulting from picking orders, put-away errors, lost merchandise, and/or pilferage
  • Investigate missing items and report losses and trends to management
  • Ensure timely processing of RTVs/Sell-Off/Store-to-Store transfers/ scraps
  • Ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintains supplies and housekeeping in Quality Assurance areas
  • Daily review and maintenance of required reports
  • Maintain communication programs including daily associate meetings, performance discussions and support of employee recognition programs
  • Reinforce and demonstrate a positive health and safety attitude through support and enforcement of health and safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience is preferred
  • APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification, PMP, and Lean/ Six Sigma certification is an asset
  • 3-5 years of staff supervisory experience in retail, wholesale, or direct to consumer inventory control function, preferably in an automated environment (business or consumer)
  • Warehousing experience preferably in a “each-pick” and internet or catalog fulfillment environment
  • Analytical skills to identify issues, trends and proper solution to resolve any inventory issues
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others to achieve excellence
  • Demonstrated understanding with a major WMS package and automated fulfillment equipment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish results while under pressure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to create/maintain spreadsheets and other files
  • Exceeds all DC (Quality and Productivity) metrics for the HBC Ecommerce Fulfillment operation
  • The incumbent is required to have sustainable physical requirements including but not limited to: standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, climbing ladders or stairs, push or pull up to 50 lbs
