E-COMMERCE DIRECTOR

The Director of eCommerce is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns, all online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies.

  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the as it relates to the B2C channel acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, test and implement all eCommerce and direct-to-consumer initiatives
  • Build and manage the full channel P & L
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
  • Develop and execute all online marketing initiatives with third-party agency to ensure continued growth of the direct-to-consumer channel while maintaining a profitable ROAS
  • Develop offline marketing campaigns to support customer acquisition initiatives
  • Develop email marketing strategy & calendar supported by creative, testing, deployment and performance analytics
  • Develop and direct the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Manage all aspects of web analytics and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Review on-site data and cross channel data to continually optimize the site merchandising to drive performance
  • Build and direct a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop eCommerce solutions
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
  • Demonstrates strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Partner with fulfillment warehouse to ensure all receipts shipments and returns are processed in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain all direct -to-consumer policies and procedures – returns and appeasements
  • Plan and coordinate all photo shoots
  • Manage freelance Art Director and Copy writer to ensure all assets are on brand with the correct voice

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5+years of experience in retail industry or equivalent in Digital/EcommerceWebsite Analytics (GA)Knowledge of at least 1 Ecommerce platform, and experience in working with digital agencies/vendors
  • MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong team spirits with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes, and thrice in a fast-paces environment
  • Understanding of digital landscape, Online merchandising, Digital Marketing and Web developmentAnalytical skills to generate innovative insights from analysis and communicate results effectively
