Job Description

The downtown NYC Saks Fifth Avenue store is looking for someone with a go-getter personality who loves making connections and is embedded in Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn community to join their team in support of local NYC Outreach.  This person will focus on local outreach in the downtown NYC area to generate buzz and new partnerships for the downtown store location.  Some specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Person would be responsible for identifying, making contact, and developing relationships with influential groups in the community - charities, schools, businesses, small businesses, with the goal of developing a partnership between the group and the Company.
• Person would work with Saks Store & Corporate Team to find mutually agreeable partnership opportunities with the goal of driving new customers to Saks Downtown

Qualifications

It is important that the candidate is connected in the Downtown NYC market and is comfortable reaching out to the community.  A few key important qualifications include:

• Proven track record of developing relationships within areas such as Tourism / Hospitality, Financial Community, Business Community and Private Schools.
• The ability to work independently and is business minded.
