DIVISIONAL PLANNING MANAGER

Our client, a department store, is seeking a Divisional Planning Manager for their New York City location. This person will be directly responsible for organizing financial plans to promote the business of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of the Merchandise Planning team
• Create attainable financial goals for the company and see that they are achieved or exceeded
• Maintain the inventory levels within the retail stores
• Recommend any process changes as seen fit
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure all planning initiatives are being met
• Coordinate meetings on a monthly basis to review all planning goals

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7-10 years of experience in a major, luxury goods retailer focusing on multi-store responsibilities
• Experience leading Merchandise Planning teams and executing planning initiatives
• Proven negotiation, problem solving, and communication skills
