District Manager, Calvin Klein Jeans & Sportswear – Northeast

 

 

 

The District Manager will manage/support the efforts of assigned district to achieve objectives by providing in the field support via leadership and development for Field Merchandise Coordinators within that district according to the directives of the Field Services Division. In addition, is individually responsible for coverage of 1-2 doors within district, which will require regular visits.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

 

  • Direct and coordinate activities within a specific district with guidance from RM. 
  • Administer goals/objectives to a specific district in order to achieve the goals.
  • Review analysis of business by division by account in order to seize opportunities. 
  • Partner with RM to review achievements and discuss required changes needed. 
  • Ensure financial objectives are met and operational standards are maintained.
  • Training and developing Field Merchandise Coordinators
  • Executing merchandising directives through effective visual and fixture execution.
  • Monitor staffing within your district and communicate needs to RM.
  • Assisting RM in managing budgets and territory rotations
  • Effective communication/relationship building
    • Establish strong relationship with your Regional Manager.
    • Develop relationships with business partners at all levels in-store

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

 

Experience: 5-8 years of retail management experience, or equivalent    

        

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

 

Skills: Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel, and E-mail.
