Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Sales Executive in Accessories (Handbags/Jewelry) Retail and Wholesale industry
Excellent sales track record; proven ability to effectively close sales
Proven partnerships with major retailers
Strong knowledge of department store business
Must have strong business acumen; strong Retail Math skills
Expertise in assortment planning and merchandising
Strong presentation skills-must be comfortable and confident in running meetings, presenting to customers and standing by designs, product, business plans …etc.
Team player with the desire to form working relationships across multiple departments and streamline processes
Experience managing a team of people and desire to form strong relationship with cross-functional teams
Experience in working with partnering with design teams to line-build
Strong Excel and Word skills
Must have strong verbal and written skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell and manage multiple brands
SKU/Line planning
Financial Planning/ Business Forecasting
Weekly communication with customers
Increasing orders and building sales
Formulating business and exit strategies with effective and timely execution
Set and run meetings as needed with internal teams and customers
Help prepare and merchandise showrooms for Market
Market Weeks: sell, receive feedback on product, interpret customers’ needs and requests, develop a strong understanding of their business and interpret to increase sales
Seek out and acquire new customers and businesses
Work with internal partners in the company (design team, production, customer service) to achieve overall financial goals
