Director of Production

Position Summary: 

• Oversee the production and sourcing functions for all categories.
• Set global sourcing strategy: source new suppliers based on business growth plans and introduction of new product categories. Develop and maintain a diversified supply chain.
• Communicate daily with overseas and domestic agents, factories and suppliers on related production issues.
• Vendor capacity planning and maintenance.
• Create and monitor seasonal/ yearly calendar to ensure relevant due dates are met.
• Interface with design and merchandizing teams from development through production to meet company costs, delivery and quality standard requirements.
• Help drive growth through strategic planning during cross functional team meetings.
• Attend seasonal design presentations and related meetings.
• Oversee cost analysis and negotiations to ensure company margins/ retail targets are met.
• Monitor and manage weekly TA calendar/ reports. Establish quick response and fast track program with suppliers. (long term goal)
• Attend fittings to monitor approval process and ensure approval deadlines are met.
• Develop, maintain and revise QC standards and finishing practices
• Manage and mentor a team of three production associates
• Approve or obtain Nili’s approval for difficult production issues
