DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

We are working with one the world’s leading Nonwoven Roll Good manufacturers supplying numerous markets with excellent products from their state-of-the-art production centers. Thriving company, still in growth mode with a very strong future ahead of them and an excellent team in place!

Our client is searching for a dynamic leader to oversee the management of all areas of manufacturing for several Nonwovens lines, including production, maintenance, quality and engineering. Monitoring daily key performances and proven continuous improvement success required. Working knowledge of Nonwovens, Paper, Pulp and Hydro-entanglement ideal!! Must be able to establish accountability immediately and be a change agent for a facility with very strong projected growth!! Great career strengthening position with advancement opportunities!

Job requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing management, preferably in the Nonwovens, Pulp and Paper industry and/or a process-oriented operations. A minimum of 5-years’ experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer
  • Strong, metric-driven methodology, and must drive the business for continual improvement of key metrics
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma certification or other statistical based continuous improvement methodology desired
  • Problem solving skills and strong analytical skill - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Minitab, SAP desired)

Education

  • B.S. degree required (Textile/Pulp/Paper Engineering desired)
