DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & MEDIA RELATIONS
REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Mail, Print Production, and Online-
- Manage direct mail budget for the retail divisions of Max Mara and Marina Rinaldi.
- Provide support for Max Mara Retail stores with print & online needs for Events & Promotions
- Manage production and mailing of seasonal sale cards
- Manage the production of all envelopes and additional collateral not provided by Italy for Max Mara Retail stores
- Develop collateral with Italy based on specific needs and requests from all divisions
- Create copy for print collateral and eblasts
- Determine the client criteria for each mailing, review the criteria with related head of retail
- Develop and execute online strategy for Max Mara
- Work with VP & PR team to develop and maintain Facebook content calendar
- Post on daily basis any current news, editorials, upcoming events on official Max Mara Facebook page and manage content on the page
- Continue to do competitive research on other luxury brand Facebook pages
- Develop CRM initiatives, implement and track results
Advertising-
- Manage the planning and execution of added value programs based on national and regional advertising commitments for Max Mara
- negotiate both national and regional positions
- negotiate rates, positions and plan regional media for both weekend MaxMara and MaxMara
- negotiate rates, positions and plan for Canadian markets
- negotiate rates and positions for the Mexico media plan
- facilitate creative for all national regional Canadian and Mexican titles
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:
- Highly proficient on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Pro-active, organized and well spoken
- Able to work in a fast paced and often hectic environment
