DIRECTOR OF ALTERATIONS

Our client, a luxury fashion custom salon, is seeking a Director of Alterations for their location in New York City. This person will be directly responsible for ensuring all merchandise is altered and completed in a timely manner

Job Description: 

• Verify all alterations are correct, making sure to adhere to any deadlines
• Build and mentor a large alterations team
• Collaborate and cross-functionally partner with other department heads
• Maintain and manage payroll to not exceed budgets in and out of season
• Manage all supply budgets

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a director role, alterations preferred
• Knowledge of luxury vendors and the production process 
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills 
• Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment
