Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist’s goal is to generate omni-channel sales through the coordination and execution of email campaigns. This person will report to the Email Marketing Manager and collaborate with various cross functional teams including Digital Marketing, eCommerce, and Merchandising as well as outside partners and vendors.
Key Position Responsibilities:
· Coordinate email campaigns from start to finish including content planning, campaign deployment and analysis
- Partner with Marketing Planning and Merchandising teams to craft email features and promotions
- Communicate email best practices and lead email review of campaigns throughout entire production cycle
- Partner with Production team on email build and test deployment. QA emails for accuracy
- Adhere to established schedule and ensure all email deadlines are met
- Work with CRM department on email audience criteria and list pull execution
· Work closely with Creative team to execute email design and messaging
· Responsible for successful live deployment of approved email campaigns
· Measure email campaign performance and utilize data to recommend email optimization strategies
Additional Responsibilities:
· Support Email Marketing Manager in reviewing email cadence and overall calendar planning
· Educate internal partners about digital marketing best practices and processes
· Keep partners informed of marketing goals, changes and opportunities
- Maintain holistic view of promotional email programs to achieve key goals of maintaining/ improving email metrics and subscriber engagement
- Special projects and other tasks required by the business and deemed appropriate by manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree. Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related degree preferred
- 2 or more years of Email, Digital Marketing or related experience
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices including design, deliverability and CAN-SPAM
- Previous hands-on experience with an email service provider (ESP). Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
- Retail experience preferred
