Digital Assistant - DKNY

Overview:

The Donna Karan Company LLC, one of the world's leading fashion houses, seeks a digital assistant to join the DKNY team based in New York City.

 

The Digital Assistant will support the evolution of DKNY, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld Paris and G.H. Bass’ online presence through all social media platforms and digital branding efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages day to day execution of all Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest content including, posting, data analysis and community management
  • Liaises with the Social Media Manager to ensure all online and social media content supports the brand, as well as ecommerce, retail, wholesale, licensee and PR initiatives
  • Ensures that editorial calendars are distributed to key stakeholders including the Retail, Press, Wholesale, Ecommerce and Licensing teams, as well as senior leadership, as appropriate
  • Develops monthly content and special event reports, that analyze social media performance and communicate it to the larger digital team, as well as key stakeholders
  • Supports the Senior Director of Digital Branding on all digital projects, including retail initiatives, social media events and digital branding programs
  • Remains up to date on emerging social media and digital marketing trends, performing industry research and analysis as needed
  • Supports Senior Director of Digital Branding and Social Media Manager with wider marketing strategy planning
  • Assists Social Media Manager with the execution of influencer campaigns
  • Performs ad-hoc administration support to the Digital team

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 1-2 years of marketing, retail, or project management experience
  • BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • Must be detail-oriented and deadline driven, with strong organizational and the ability to manage numerous projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of web and social analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook analytics, Twitter analytics, Instagram analytics, etc.)

  • Must love marketing, digital and social media, people, and culture
  • Retail and/or fashion industry experience is a plus.
