Digital Assets / E-commerce Photography Coordinator

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Perry Ellis International is currently seeking a Digital Assets Coordinator for our headquarters in Miami, FL. The Digital Assets Coordinator will be responsible for the management, ordering and tracking of samples for Rafaella Sportswear, Nike Swim, Laundry by Shelli Segal and Fashion Swim Brands e-commerce and marketing photography.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the day to day management of sample flow, scheduling photo shoots, and post production details such as ensuring correct file names for each wholesaler based on their specifications, ensure specific cropping of images for each wholesaler, determine need for retouching, and final stage delivery of images to all wholesalers in a timely manner.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

     * Responsible for product imagery production, assisting photography and creative services team through physical production, and acting as point-person for management through post-production. This includes delivering imagery to the internal and external clients.

 

     * Actively manage all buys for ecommerce and wholesale accounts accordingly.

 

     * Coordinates photo shoot process; gather sample product to ensure timely and complete labeling, delivery and return from studio, prepares shot lists for Photo Studio.  Advises team on styling call outs.

 

     * Provides clear and actionable retouching mark-ups and shooting instructions to the Photo Studio.

 

     * Validates that retouched images are returned and executed correctly per provided instructions.

 

     * Supplies customer assets from multiple sources (FTP site, CDs, email, other) and insures that images meet their website specifications.

 

     * Aids in the maintenance of imagery directories and archives.

 

     * Works closely with wholesale accounts and marketing to handle urgent image requests

 

     * Helps define and adhere to the end-to-end photo production process.

 

     * Supports the photo standards project, drafting, modifying, and updating guidelines; Adheres to defined guidelines once rolled out.

 

     * Troubleshoots issues, follow-up to get images on a timely basis

 

     * Serve as liaison between the Photography Services Team and the eCommerce teams and accounts.

 

     * Facilitate the transfer of images to the appropriate accounts.       

 

     * Maintain an awareness of required photography and insure that all photography shots are completed.

 

     * Partner with Purchasing to coordinate on-time sample order and delivery.

 

     * Ensure all accounts are provided feedback in a timely manner.

 

     * Coordinate the calendar and photography data, (work with E-commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning and Purchasing departments)

 

     * Cross office sample timing/availability.

 

     * Serve as a liaison to all vendors; maintain vendor information and communication, include proactively following up on photography and missing samples

 

     * Generate and distribute reports as needed.

 

     * Maintains sample room and updates accessories according to season and trend per marketing and brand appropriate aesthetics.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

     * Bachelor’s Degree.

 

     * Previous experience in a photo studio environment preferred.

 

     * Proficiency in Google Enterprise,  Excel and PC environment.

 

     * Strong Communication skills, written and verbal.

 

     * Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

 

     * Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

 

     * Demonstrate analytical skills and good business acumen.

 

     * Ability to multi-task to meet concurrent deadlines and manage multiple functions.

 

     * Must be able to adapt and react to constantly changing details in priorities, and shift the focus to the important task.
