DESIGNER - Women's Footwear

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Build line from conceptual sketches to final approved prototypes
• Sketch line based on line plan and conceptual direction.
• Develop color palettes per line per market
• Select materials from swatch books for detailing of line
• Build line using materials that cost out to hit target prices
• Send out tech packs
• Present line to sales based on line direction
• Communicate daily with oversees office regarding sample status, and confirmation status

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree in design preferred
• 3-5 years experience in woman’s footwear design required
• Experience with the development process necessary
• Ability to identify seasonal trends
• Ability to plan calendar, and manage workload based on a timeline
• Illustrator, Photoshop, and hand sketching required
