DESIGNER - Private Label & Dress

Well established company is looking for a Private Label & Dress Designer to design dresses for juniors for specialty/mass market/department store lines.  

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for designing within the seasonal calendar.
• Present seasonal concept, research market trends, select colors, trends, silhouettes, etc.
• Create CADs and maintain linesheets for each delivery.
• create artwork for seasonal line plan.
• Write teckpacks. Write comments to overseas on all product components.
• Make sure that most current samples are updated in the showroom.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years experience 
• Background coming from Missy’s & Junior’s preferred, but not necessary. 
• Extensive knowledge of garment construction and fabrics, Photo shop & Illustrator.
