Designer - Licensed Categories

The Donna Karan Company LLC, one of the world's leading fashion houses, seeks a designer to join the global licensing team based in New York City.

The licensing designer will manage and inspire the creative process of Donna Karan and DKNY licensed products from product ideation through final approval.

• Collaborate with licensees Design teams to ensure that seasonal brand message and inspiration translate to finish product
• Identify opportunities that reflect brand vision and accommodate licensed partners calendar needs
• Maintain awareness of each product lines impact and presence in order to continually refine product
• Conceptualize and develop product that is well-balanced between design and commercialization for licensees
• Continually research new developments in global trends, products, and lifestyle in order to identify opportunities for brand growth and recognition through unique or trend product potential

• 8+ years of design experience within luxury goods industry

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or related field

• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects
