Men's Accessories Designer with Focus on Men's & Ladies Belts (especially men's belts). Assisting team in creating designs that fit into seasonal concepts and specific brand visions

• Experience in design, sourcing, merchandising, & product development with leather materials - highly preferred
• Analyze and interpret fashion trends into salable mass product / market research
• Collaborates with merchants to build assortment and react to fashion trends; Collaborates with Sourcing teams & factories to develop fabrics, trims, webs, & hardware for brands
• Provides technical details to overseas vendors for managing prototype development
• Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs
• Create & manage tech packs through PLM software
• Understanding of brand "DNA"
• Detailed cads in Illustrator / Ability to create original artwork

REQUIREMENTS

Skills, Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Industrial design or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office & PLM
• Knowledge of PLM or similar software advantageous
• Self motivated, professional, dependable
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, & multi-task
• Positive Team Player - ability to handle high stress work environment - fast paced
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Ability to multi task - complete all tasks according to T/A calendar
• Global travel and sourcing experience
• Facilitate communication between licensee & licensor of branded products
• Travel oversees to Asia and to factories
