Designer - Activewear

A well known active apparel company is looking for a designer to work alongside the creative director and lead design for their womens active apparel business. This position requires someone with experience using and designing in performance fabrics.  Ath-leisure or swim experience will also be considered. In this position you will oversee all sketching (flats and hand), trend boards, inspiration, and more. This line is produced overseas and runs on a juniors calendar, so candidates must be familiar with a fast pace environment. Our customer base includes TJX, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, Costco and some specialty yoga/Pilates studios. We have a mid size design team and you will be overseeing 1-2 assistants, as well as wearing many different hats depending on the season.  We offer benefits and paid vacation. Location is Bell.
