**A Fortune 500 Fashion Company is looking for a Designer for their Boys and Toddler Boy Accessory team.  This will be designing shoes, hats, baseball hats, cold weather accessories, sunglasses and shoes **

Summary:

Individual contributor responsible for assisting with the creation of commercially viable product designs for Toddler Boy and Boys accessories business.  Coordinates and delivers brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept, aesthetic and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print, fit and fabric for new/ existing product lines.  This will be more of a support role and manager will be leading most of the concept.  This is a mostly CAD oriented role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction and business strategy
• Develop seasonal product
• Deliver design sketches / prototypes and provide specifications
• Utilize resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally, and stay up to date on competitor research / trend analysis
• Prepare materials for meetings and presentations and coordinate logistics
• Meet budget and time commitments without compromising design excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field
• Exceptional talent with a commercial fashion eye and detail in product styling/performance
• Knowledge and interest in current trends in design and fashion
• Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills; flexible and creative problem solver
• Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented
• Personal professionalism and accountability
• Computer experience in Adobe Creative Suite
• Illustration skills and / or hand sketching and 3D rendering skills a plus
