DESIGN / LICENSING MANAGER - Home Furnishing

• Manage Design team on day to day projects
• Receive and review sales request.
• Route sales requests to design and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist Licensing coordinator on submissions, revisions and orders.
• Manage the designers on new development items.
• Work with management on new development
• Work with production to receive new samples
• Comp shop all outlets on new product and packaging ideas
• Search the industry for new fabric ideas and trims
  Receive new style guide notifications from licensors and prepare them for download
• Work with licensing directors to ensure special projects for the licensors are met
• Meet periodically with licensors for recaps and updates
• Maintain sales library of approved sells sheets for presentations
• Work with design in developing mock up product for Sales request
• Collect most up to date bedding designs from licensors to ensure that we are properly coordinating
• Review our servers for existing art work that can be used on pending products
• Where possible construct sells sheets using existing product
• Maintain showroom

Education / Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in wholesale planning environment
• Excellent oral / written communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bachelors degree
• Excellent computer skills, with emphasis on advanced level Excel
