DESIGN COORDINATOR

Overview:

The Design Coordinator will assist in major seasonal design development activities.

Haddad Brands is a fast paced and very successful, privately held, NYC based, kid's apparel company.

Haddad Brands holds the global licenses for Nike, Levi’s, Jordan, Converse, and Hurley children's wear. Our work environment is entrepreneurial, fast paced and FUN! 

Key Accountabilities:

• Create and maintain design charts for all details
• Support style tracker creation and maintenance for a specific area
• Work directly with Technical Design on all seasonal specification requests
• Responsible for uploading design charts, spec pages, and artwork for sample room and sourcing to create seasonal salesman samples
• Manage check-in and documentation of comments in regards to sales sample management
• Upload, manage and coordinate all necessary production package changes for a season (fabric updates, color edits, packaging details, etc.)
• Assist with legal submissions for the Graphics teams with licensees
• Manage the seasonal ‘Trip Book’ (Line Plan Catalog) for Sourcing, which includes all design chart details for costing purposes
• Special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising or related field
• 1+ years of experience in related field and/or strong internship experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
