Bass, among others is seeking an Associate dress designer to join it's team based on New York City is seeking a Customer Service Sales Assistant for DKNY Dresses to join it's team based in New York City.

 

The Customer Service Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting sales staff by providing administrative, clerical, and customer service support. They will also be repsonsible for order entry, order maintenance, shipping updates, and assisting Account Executives to maximize productivity of the team and drive sales to increase profits. They will also serve as a direct contact for external buyers in conjunction with internal sales team, providing exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities also include processing, verifying and follow through of all orders, including resolving order discrepancies, addressing and monitoring outstanding shipping issues and handling inquiries that arise from buyers, sales, distribution, credit, logistics, etc.

Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Daily communication with internal & external customers, provide current and future shipping information and resolving various issues.
  • Manage customer orders, process, verify, and resolve all order discrepancies, resolving problems, advising account of order changes.
  • Order processing and maintenance (Manual, EDI, Order Templates). Process EDI, resolving discrepancies with the accounts and Sales.
  • Flag, monitor, and follow up on advertised merchandise, new store openings, and events.
  • Monitor Credit Approval/PT/Auto-Cancelled Units.

Reporting:

  • Provide bi-weekly order status updates to management.
  • Detailed weekly updates including large cancellations, unconfirmed, priority issues.
  • Order status updates during upcoming split dates.

Market:

  • Preparation and execution: maintain the appointment calendar, ensuring delivery of line lists each day and assisting team members during appointments.
  • Work with Assistant Merchandiser and sales assistant to manage E-com images/ copy process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 1-3 years of sales/customer experience
  • Must be an action oriented, team-player with excellent problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of AS400 a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required
