Customer Service Manager

Contemporary fashion brand best known for modern effortless style is looking for a passionate organized individual who will lead our customer service, maintain the inventory management system and liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming orders via all established methods for assigned accounts in an accurate and timely manner, and monitor their progress until the product is shipped and all necessary transactions are completed
  • Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Process payments via EDI, credit cards and other pre-approved channels
  • Calendar AR payments due and follow up with customer to ensure timely payment
  • Enter all orders into ERP system at time of order
  • Process shipment labels to ensure all orders are shipped on time
  • Provide updated status of orders to the customer
  •  Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer’s problems efficiently and quickly
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Communicate clearly the progress of weekly/monthly/annual initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Must have sales order entry experience
  • Knowledge of third-party EDI providers and routing partners preferred
  • Must possess strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Must be dependable, reliable and able to work Monday – Friday 8am -5pm, some overtime may be required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive team
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communications skills, and the flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing set of priorities in a fast paced environment is essential
  • Must have the ability to work independently using good judgment and logical problem-solving skills, have the initiative to anticipate needs, and accomplish short and long range projects with minimal supervision
  • Must understand what Customer Service really means, and have the ability to exceed customer’s expectations daily
